How to Activate the TPAY Portal to Check TSC Payslips Online. TPAY is the TSC Payroll Service that allows teachers to access their payslips, manage deductions, and obtain KRA P9 forms online. This service is exclusive to teachers and employees of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). This guide will walk you through the steps to activate the TPAY portal.

Requirements to Activate the TPAY Portal

Before you begin the activation process, ensure you have the following:

  • A valid TSC Number
  • Employment with the Teachers Service Commission
  • An active registered SIM card
  • An active Mwalimu Email ending with @mwalimu.tsc.go.ke (if you don’t have one, learn how to activate it)
  • Registration on TPAY by the TSC Office

Step-by-Step Procedure to Activate the TPAY Portal

  1. Open Your Browser
    • Use a PC or mobile browser (e.g., Chrome).
  2. Access the TPAY Portal
    • In the URL bar, type https://tpay.tsc.go.ke and press Enter.
  3. Enter Your Credentials
    • Once the website has loaded, enter your TSC Number.
    • Enter the TPAY password provided by the TSC offices.
  4. Upload Your Passport Photo
    • Proceed to upload your passport photo.
    • Click on “Save”.
  5. Validate Your Phone Number
    • Enter your phone number.
    • Request an OTP code to be sent to your phone.
    • Enter the OTP code you received and click on “Validate”.
  6. Validate Your Mwalimu Email
    • Enter your TSC Mwalimu Email (e.g., [email protected]).
    • Click on “Send” to receive an OTP.
    • Visit your Mwalimu email via Outlook, retrieve the OTP code, and enter it into the TPAY portal.
    • Click on “Validate”.

Final Steps

  • Once your phone number and email have been validated, you should see the payslips menu on the left side of the TPAY portal.
  • You can now access payslips, manage deductions, and use other payslip-related services.
