How to Retrieve a Lost KRA PIN Online with KRA. The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is responsible for tax collection in Kenya, and having a KRA PIN is essential for various financial and legal activities. If you have lost or misplaced your KRA PIN, you can retrieve it using the following methods:

1. Retrieve KRA PIN via Registered Email

If you remember the email address you used to register for your KRA PIN, you can easily retrieve your PIN from there.

Steps:

    • Use the search bar in your email and type “KRA”.
    • Look for any emails from KRA which might contain your PIN certificate.
  3. Retrieve and Print:

2. Retrieve KRA PIN Using ID Number Online

If you don’t have access to the registered email, you can use the KRA Self-Service Portal.

  1. Access the KRA Self-Service Portal:

    • Register for an account on the Self-Service Portal.
  3. Submit a Request:
    • Use the portal to submit a request for your lost KRA PIN.
    • Attach the scanned copies of your ID.
    • Provide all necessary details and specify that you want to retrieve your KRA PIN.
  4. Wait for Response:
    • KRA will process your request, and you will receive your KRA PIN in your email within a few hours to a few days.

3. Retrieve KRA PIN via Email Request

You can also request your KRA PIN via email.

Steps:

  1. Scan Your ID:
    • Scan a colored copy of your ID (both front and back).
  2. Send an Email:
    • Compose an email to [email protected].
    • Attach the scanned copies of your ID.
    • Explain that you have lost your KRA PIN and request for retrieval.
  3. Wait for Response:
    • KRA will respond to your request and send your KRA PIN to your email.
