How to Become a PICK Member in Kenya Today
How to become a PICK member is a pertinent question for Kenyans seeking to align with a party that champions independent political voices. The Party of Independent Candidates of Kenya (PICK) was established in 1992 by former Olympic shooter and businessman John Harun Mwau. Mwau ran as the party’s presidential candidate in the December 1992 general elections, finishing seventh among eight candidates with 0.2% of the vote. In the parliamentary elections, PICK secured 0.8% of the vote, winning one seat in the National Assembly.
Over the years, PICK has participated in various elections, with varying degrees of success. Notably, in the 2007 general elections, the party won two seats in the National Assembly. However, it lost both seats in the 2013 elections. Wikipedia
