KUCCPS Student Application Instructions 2024. The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened applications for the placement of KCSE students into their preferred degree, diploma, and certificate courses. This article provides detailed instructions for the KUCCPS Student Application process for 2024. Carefully read and follow these instructions to ensure a successful application.

Eligibility

Who Can Apply?

• Only Kenyan Citizens are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results.

Application Process

Minimum Requirements

• All programs have minimum requirements. Ensure you meet the minimum requirements for the courses you wish to apply for.
• Placement is based on merit and choices. Your likelihood of getting your preferred course depends on your performance, the number of applicants for the same course, and the available capacity for the course.

Viewing Available Programs

• You can view the available programs and their requirements by clicking the Programmes tab.
• To search for courses by institution, use the Institutions tab.

Applying for Courses

1. Decide on Your Courses:
   • Review the available programs and decide on your preferred courses.
   • Take note of the Programme Codes for these courses.
2. Enter Programme Codes:
   • Use the Application/Revision tab to enter the Programme Codes in the provided form.
   • The form has slots for submitting up to four courses.
   • Enter the Programme Codes in your order of priority, starting with your most preferred course at number 1.
3. Multiple Category Consideration:
   • If you wish to apply for courses at different levels (e.g., Diploma and Certificate), turn the Multiple Category Consideration button to “YES”.
4. Submit Your Application:
   • After entering the Programme Codes, click Submit.

Payment Procedure

1. Proceed to Payment:
   • Upon clicking Submit, a pop-up will display a Proceed to Pay link to the payment platform.
   • Click on the Proceed to Pay link to access the payment platform.
2. Choose Payment Method:
   • Select your preferred payment method from the provided options (M-PESA, Kenya Commercial Bank, RTGS, Airtel Money).
3. M-PESA Payment Instructions:
   • Click on the M-PESA button. The payment details, including Business Number (222222), a random Account Number, and the expected amount, will be displayed.
   • Enter your M-PESA PIN and send the payment.
   • Note: The payment platform also provides for STK push.
4. Use the Account Number:
   • Use the Account Number provided by e-Citizen to submit your application. Do NOT use the M-PESA transaction code.
   • Retain the Account Number for any subsequent changes to your application.

Final Steps

• After successful payment and submission, the system will display a message indicating that the application was successful.
• You can view your successful application on the Dashboard.
