Kelly Michelle Lee Osbourne (born 26 October 1984) is a British television personality, singer, actress, and fashion designer. The daughter of Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne, she rose to fame on the MTV reality show The Osbournes (2002–2005), which earned an Emmy Award. Osbourne has since built a career in television, fashion, and music, known for her outspoken personality and eclectic style.
Early Life
Kelly Osbourne was born at Portland Hospital, Westminster, London, the middle child of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. Her siblings are Aimee and Jack Osbourne, and she has two half-siblings, Jessica and Louis, from Ozzy’s first marriage. Raised between the United States and the UK, she lived in more than 20 homes while traveling on tour with her father. Her maternal grandfather was music manager Don Arden.
Career
Reality Television and The Osbournes (2002–2005)
Osbourne gained international fame on The Osbournes, which documented her family’s unconventional lifestyle. She became known for her sharp wit and rebellious style, quickly earning recognition as a pop culture figure.
During this period, Osbourne launched her fashion line Stiletto Killers (2004–2006) and debuted her music career.
Music Career
Her first album Shut Up (2002) produced moderate sales in the U.S. but did well in Europe. She later signed with Sanctuary Records and released Sleeping in the Nothing (2005), led by the single One Word.
In 2003, she recorded a duet of Black Sabbath’s Changes with her father Ozzy Osbourne, which reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart.
Acting and Hosting (2004–2010)
Osbourne appeared in the ABC series Life as We Know It (2004) and voiced Dorothy in The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz (2005). She took on hosting roles, including ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW! and Project Catwalk.
She also joined the stage musical Chicago in 2007, playing Mama Morton in London’s West End.
Dancing with the Stars and Fashion Police (2009–2015)
In 2009, Osbourne competed on Dancing with the Stars (U.S.) and finished in third place. She then became a co-host of E!’s Fashion Police (2010–2015) alongside Joan Rivers, where she became known for her bold critiques and trendsetting style.
She also served as a judge on Project Runway Junior (2015–2017) and Australia’s Got Talent (2016).
Later Work (2016–2025)
Osbourne voiced Hildy Gloom in Disney XD’s The 7D (2014–2016), competed as “Ladybug” on The Masked Singer (2019), and joined her father and brother in Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour (2018).
In 2025, following Ozzy Osbourne’s death, their duet Changes re-entered the charts. That year, she began hosting Lego Masters Jr. and appeared in the documentary Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home.
Personal Life
Osbourne has had several high-profile relationships, including engagements to model Luke Worrall (2009–2010) and chef Matthew Mosshart (2013–2014).
In July 2025, she became engaged to Sid Wilson of Slipknot, with whom she shares one son (born 2022).
Osbourne has spoken openly about addiction struggles and her recovery, including multiple rehab stays. She also revealed in 2018 that she suffers from misophonia, a neurological condition linked to sound intolerance.
Activism
Osbourne has been active in LGBTQ+ rights, joining Cyndi Lauper’s “Give a Damn” campaign in 2010. She has also raised funds for The Prince’s Trust and worked with relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
