Joining Procedure
To become a member of Karen Country Club, candidates must be introduced by two existing members who act as a Proposer and a Seconder. Both introducers must have been members for at least two years and be in good standing with the club.
Application Process
- Submission:
- Submit a letter of introduction and the candidate’s CV to the membership office or General Manager.
- Complete a proposal form, signed by the Proposer, Seconder, and Candidate, along with passport-sized photographs.
- Review and Balloting:
- The Balloting Committee reviews the application, and feedback is provided to the Proposer.
- Balloting Dress Code:
- Gentlemen: Jackets and ties.
- Ladies: Formal attire akin to a conservative job interview.
- This ensures a respectful and elegant atmosphere during proceedings.
Additional Notes
- Children Under 18: Covered under their parents’ subscription and entry fees (golf excluded).
- Young Golfers (12-18 Years): Must join as Young Golfers or pay green fees.
- Golf Entry Fees: Payable upon application to the Golf section.
- Junior to Full Membership: Junior Members must adjust their deposit to match Full Membership requirements when upgrading.
- Country to Full Membership: Country Members must pay the difference between the entrance fees for Country and Full Members during the transfer.
