To act as a cabin crew member in Kenya, individuals must meet specific requirements set by the KCAA. The Cabin Crew Member Certificate (CMC) is a mandatory certification that all flight attendants must obtain before commencing their duties.

  7. Competency Booklet: Copies of the company’s competency booklet showing the ratings held, Safety and Emergency Procedures Training dates, First Aid renewal dates, and drill dates.
  8. First Aid Certificate: Proof of first aid certification.
  9. Prescribed Fees: Payment of Ksh 2,000 as the application fee.

The Cabin Crew Member Certificate is valid for one year from the date of issuance. Holders of the certificate must ensure they meet the renewal requirements to maintain their certification.
