Google has begun rolling out a Play Store review search feature that allows Android users to search within app and game reviews using keywords. The update is now available through a recent Google Play Store version, following a testing phase that began in November.
The feature introduces a search bar within the reviews section of apps, enabling users to quickly locate feedback related to specific features or issues. This aims to reduce the time spent scrolling through large volumes of reviews.

How Play Store review search works
The Play Store review search appears when users access the full reviews page of an app. To use it, users can tap the ratings section at the top of an app listing and select “See all reviews.” The search bar then appears at the top of the review list.
Alternatively, users can scroll to the reviews section and tap the magnifying glass icon located under the AI-generated summary. Both methods provide access to the same functionality.
Once a query is entered, the Play Store review search filters and displays reviews containing matching terms. However, the feature currently requires at least two words for the search to function.
Feature rollout and availability
