The MMUST Student Portal provides numerous services, including:

  • Online self-reporting for each semester or academic year
  • Course unit registration for specific semesters
  • Checking and printing fee statements and student-specific fee structures
  • Printing exam cards
  • Online hostel booking
  • Printing provisional academic transcripts
  • Communication with other students and lecturers

Requirements for Creating the MMUST Student Portal Account

To create your MMUST StudentPortal account, you need the following:

  • Registration Number
  • Student corporate email
  • Stable internet connection

Steps to Create the MMUST Student Portal Account

  1. Open Your Browser:
    • Use Chrome or any other preferred browser on your phone or PC.
  2. Access the MMUST Student Portal:
    • In the URL bar, type the MMUST Student Portal link or click on this link: https://myportal.mmust.ac.ke/.
  3. Register a New Account:
    • Once the portal page has fully loaded, click on “Register.”
    • Select your User Role as “Student” (not Staff).
  4. Enter Your Admission Details:
    • Input your Admission Number (Registration Number) inclusive of the slashes (e.g., A123/4567/2023).
  5. Set Your Password:
    • Create a password for your student portal account, confirm it by entering it again, and then click on “Submit.”
  6. Activate Your Account:
    • Log in to your student corporate email account (e.g., [email protected]) via Gmail.
    • Look for the activation link sent to your email and click on it to activate your student portal account.
  7. Log In to the Student Portal:
    • Once your account is activated, go back to the MMUST Student Portal.
    • Use your Registration Number as the username and the password you set to log in.

By following these steps, you will successfully create and activate your MMUST StudentPortal account. This will allow you to access a range of services essential for your academic journey at MMUST. If you encounter any issues during the registration process, contact the university’s IT support for assistance.
