On Monday, February 26, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) addressed issues expressed by applicants who were having trouble with payments reflecting on the eCitizen platform. How to Determine if the payment for your KUCCPS application has shown on eCitizen.

In accordance with the government’s order that all payments be sent to the 222222 pay bill, payments for course applications be made via the eCitizen platform.
The system showed a “error” even though some applicants had provided the transaction code and paid the payments.
The placement agency had to come up with a process to determine whether the payments had been billed after it became apparent that the payments were not immediately reflected on the eCitizen platform.
