Global – HMD has teased the launch of a new pair of DUB series true wireless stereo earphones, expanding its growing audio lineup. The company shared a teaser image on X, offering an early look at the upcoming product, though it stopped short of revealing the official name or launch date.
The teaser suggests the new HMD DUB earbuds will feature a design closely resembling the DUB X50 Pro, which debuted last month. That model adopted an in-ear form factor with a modern stem design, indicating that HMD may continue refining a familiar aesthetic rather than introducing a radical redesign.
Last month’s DUB X50 Pro came equipped with active noise cancellation, Hi-Fi DSP audio processing, and an IPX4 rating for splash resistance. If the teased model follows a similar hardware direction, users can expect features aimed at everyday listening, calls, and light workouts.
Battery performance has been a strong point of the DUB lineup so far. The DUB X50 Pro includes 70mAh batteries in each earbud and a 600mAh charging case, delivering up to 60 hours of playback at moderate volume levels. While HMD has not confirmed battery details for the new earbuds, comparable endurance would position them competitively in the mid-range TWS market.
HMD introduced several other DUB series models last month, including the X50, S60, P70, P60, and P50. This rapid expansion suggests the company is building a broad portfolio that targets different price segments and user needs, from budget-focused buyers to those looking for advanced features like ANC.
With this latest teaser, HMD signals that it is not slowing down its push into personal audio. More details about the new DUB series TWS earphones are expected soon, as the company prepares to further strengthen its presence in the wireless earbuds space.
