But that’s not all. Google has introduced an agentic checkout feature that can actually buy things for you. If you’ve been tracking the price of an item in Google Search, you can set a budget and specify details like size, color, and the quantity you want. When the price drops to your desired amount, Google can purchase the item for you using Google Pay—with your permission, of course. This feature is rolling out to eligible merchants in the U.S., and Google will notify you before completing any purchase.

Google is also enhancing its AI Mode, which allows users to describe what they’re looking for just like they would to a friend. The AI then provides a personalized response with rich visuals, relevant details such as prices, reviews, and inventory information.
