2024 Fee Structure for The Nairobi Women’s Hospital College. Located on Kikuyu Road in Waithaka, Dagoreti South, The Nairobi Women’s Hospital College is part of The Nairobi Women’s Hospital network. Since its inception in June 2008, it has received accreditation from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) for its Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing Program, and the Kenya National Examination Centre (KNEC) recognizes it for diploma and certificate programs in Social Work and Community Development.
To date, the college has produced over 300 health professionals, with 80% employed by The Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
Fee Structure and Courses Offered:
- Higher Diploma Programs:
- Critical Care Nursing (1-year program): Ksh 89,000 per the first and third trimesters, and Ksh 99,000 for the second trimester.
- PeriOperative Theatre Nursing (1-year program): Same fee structure as above.
- Diploma Programs:
- Nursing (3 years): Fees range from Ksh 47,000 to Ksh 57,000 per trimester.
- Peri-Operative Theatre Technology, Social Work and Community Development, Medical Social Work, Nutrition and Dietetics, Health Records and Information Technology, Community Health Assistant, Counseling Psychology: Duration and fees vary, with trimester fees generally starting from Ksh 30,000 to Ksh 55,000.
- Certificate Courses:
- Social Work and Community Development, Peri-Operative Theatre Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Health Records and Information Technology, Community Health, Counseling Psychology: Fees and duration vary, with some programs lasting 1 year and others 2 years, and costs per trimester ranging from Ksh 30,000 to Ksh 55,000.
Additional fees include a non-refundable application fee of Ksh 1,000, an administrative fee of Ksh 12,000, and a graduation fee of Ksh 5,000 in the final year. Accommodation is available for Ksh 4,000 monthly, excluding meals.
