You can remove a card from Google Pay using either the website or the mobile app. Here’s how to do it:
Method 1: Removing a Card through the Google Pay Website
- Go to Google Pay: Open a web browser and visit the Google Pay website.
- Sign In: Enter your Google account credentials (Gmail email address and password) to sign in.
- Access Payment Methods: Click “Payment methods” in the menu on the left side. You will see a list of credit and debit cards linked to your Google Pay account.
- Remove the Card: Select the card you want to remove, then click the “Remove” link next to it. Confirm the deletion when prompted by clicking “Remove” or “OK.”
Method 2: Removing a Card through the Google Pay Mobile App (Android/iOS)
- Launch Google Pay: Open the Google Pay app on your mobile device (download from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store if needed).
- Enter Your PIN: Input your Google Pay PIN for security.
- Access Credit and Debit Cards Page:
- Tap the gear icon to access Settings.
- Select “Credit and debit cards.”
- A list of all cards linked to your account will be displayed.
- Select the Card to Remove: Tap on the card you want to remove and select “Edit.”
- Remove the Card:
- Tap “Remove” in the top right corner.
- Confirm the deletion by tapping “Remove” again in the confirmation message.
Now the selected card will be removed from your Google Pay account.
