Omosh One Hour, a well-known supporter of former prime minister Raila Odinga, has taken a significant step in expanding his personal brand by launching a new talk show on YouTube. This move comes after a successful stint of sharing his political opinions, which has now evolved into hosting interviews with notable guests. His latest guest, Mathe Wa Ngara (real name Nancy Indoveria Kigunzu), captivated audiences as she recounted her struggles following over two years in detention and the alleged wrongful seizure of her property.
Mathe Wa Ngara, who was previously linked to a drug trafficking network in the Ngara area of Nairobi, was granted bail by the High Court in 2023 after spending a lengthy period in detention. In an emotional interview with Omosh, she shared her ordeal, stating that while fighting her legal battle, authorities seized her properties, including her house and construction materials. “They went to western Kenya and demolished the house I had built. They also took away the construction materials I had bought,” Mathe Wa Ngara explained. She described how the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) took the materials to Eldoret, stripping her of her assets while leaving her children vulnerable.
The interview has sparked mixed reactions from the public, with many expressing sympathy for Mathe Wa Ngara’s situation. Some suggested that the government should return the seized properties for the sake of her children, while others commended Omosh for the new show format. However, not all reactions were positive. A few viewers criticized Omosh’s interview style, urging him to improve his approach for more effective discussions. Despite the mixed feedback, the debut episode of Omosh’s talk show has garnered significant attention, as it marks a new chapter in his career.
Omosh, who has been known for his emotional public displays, such as his tears at the return of Raila Odinga’s body to Kenya, has faced both support and criticism for his actions. In 2025, Omosh met with President William Ruto, sparking further controversy. While some accused him of betraying his earlier stance, Omosh dismissed the claims, maintaining that his personal grievances had been addressed, and he received no financial compensation from the president.
With the launch of his talk show, Omosh is navigating a new phase in his career, transitioning from political activism to entertainment, and continuing to build his influence on social media. His interview with Mathe Wa Ngara has set the stage for future discussions on public service, government accountability, and personal resilience.
