Application Procedure

  1. Visit the Civil Registry Office
    Go to your local civil registry (Mairie) where the death was registered.
  2. Present a Valid ID
    Bring a valid government-issued ID. Only legally authorized individuals such as family members, legal representatives, or executors can request a copy.
  3. Submit a Request
    Provide a written request and include essential information to help locate the record:
    • Full name of the deceased
    • Sex
    • Date of death
