The ecoregions of Uganda are classified by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). They represent unique ecological zones defined by climate, vegetation, geography, and biodiversity. Uganda’s ecoregions are broadly divided into terrestrial ecoregions and freshwater ecoregions.

🌍 Uganda’s ecological diversity is remarkable, spanning from tropical rainforests and savanna grasslands to high-altitude montane zones and unique freshwater systems within the Great Lakes and Nile basins.
