In 1988, the school rose to national prominence, ranking sixth nationally in the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) exams. This early success cemented Kanga’s reputation for academic excellence. Over the years, the school expanded its facilities, with new dormitories, classrooms, and staff quarters being constructed.
