How to Nominate Candidates for QFMA Board of Directors. This service allows members of the companies listed under Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) to apply for the nomination of the Authority’s Board of Directors.
Instructions
- Login to your account on QFMA website.
- Select “Approval of Candidates for Board of Directors Membership” from the e-services list on QFMA homepage.
- Click on “Apply E-Form”.
- Fill out the required information in the service application form and attach the following documents:
- Candidacy form for each candidate
- Identity proof, including the candidate’s date of birth (QID for the Qatari and passport for the non-Qatari)
- Good Conduct Certificate
- Shares Ownership Certificate specifying the number of shares for non-independent candidates
- Acknowledgment by the non-independent candidate to deposit the guarantee shares to the depository at the legally specified date
- Acknowledgment of not combining prohibited positions
- Nominee’s CV
- Recommendation of the Nomination Committee
- Tick the checkbox to agree on the Terms of Service.
- Click on “Submit”.

- You can apply when the nomination application is open.
- You can submit your application after defining the date of the General Assembly.
- The application should be submitted two weeks before the General Assembly’s date.
