To obtain an Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) clearance certificate in Kenya, follow these steps:

Steps to Obtain EACC Clearance Certificate

1. Download and Fill Self-Declaration Form:
   • Visit the EACC website at www.eacc.go.ke to download the self-declaration form.
   • Complete two copies of the form.
2. Attach Necessary Documents:
   • Attach copies of your ID or passport, KRA PIN certificate, and relevant academic certificates to each form.
3. Sign and Witness the Form:
   • Sign both copies of the form in the presence of a commissioner for oaths or a magistrate.
4. Submit the Forms:
   • Submit the completed forms in person at the EACC head office, any regional EACC office, or Huduma Centres across Kenya. Note: Submissions cannot be made online.
5. Receive Acknowledgment:
   • Upon submission, you will receive a stamped copy of your application as proof of acknowledgment.
6. No Certificate Issued:
   • EACC does not issue a physical clearance certificate. Instead, they will provide a confidential report directly to the employing agency regarding all shortlisted applicants.
