To be recruited as a Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) ranger, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Kenya Wildlife Service Rangers Recruitment Requirements
- Nationality: Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Residence: Must come from the county where recruitment is taking place.
- Age: Between 18 and 25 years.
- Education: Must have a maximum KCSE mean grade of D+.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to withstand challenging environments.
- Criminal Record: Must have no criminal record.
- Clearance Certificate: Must possess a clearance certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
- Identification and Certificates: Must have original certificates and a valid National Identification Card.
- Running Gear: Candidates should appear in appropriate running gear for the physical tests.
