Kenya Wildlife Service Rangers Recruitment Requirements

To be recruited as a Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) ranger, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Nationality: Must be a Kenyan citizen.
2. Residence: Must come from the county where recruitment is taking place.
3. Age: Between 18 and 25 years.
4. Education: Must have a maximum KCSE mean grade of D+.
5. Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to withstand challenging environments.
6. Criminal Record: Must have no criminal record.
7. Clearance Certificate: Must possess a clearance certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
8. Identification and Certificates: Must have original certificates and a valid National Identification Card.
9. Running Gear: Candidates should appear in appropriate running gear for the physical tests.
