DJI Osmo 360, the brand’s first-ever 360-degree action camera, has officially been unveiled, marking a major step forward in immersive content creation. Designed with groundbreaking features, the Osmo 360 is the first 360° camera capable of recording 8K at 50fps and sustaining 8K 30fps continuous video for up to 100 minutes.
At the heart of the Osmo 360 are two 1/1.1-inch CMOS HDR sensors, engineered specifically for 360° shooting. DJI claims that these square-shaped sensors, equivalent in area to a single 1-inch sensor, deliver 13.5 stops of dynamic range, paired with an f/1.9 aperture and an expansive ISO range from 100 to 51200.

In terms of recording power, users can capture:
- 8K 30fps native 360° video
- 8K 50fps via upscaling
- 4K 100fps 360° video
- Single-lens 5K at 60fps
- Ultra-wide 4K at 120fps
The battery life is equally impressive, offering:
- 100 minutes of continuous 8K 30fps recording
- 190 minutes at 6K 24fps
- 1.5 hours of operation in freezing temperatures down to -20°C
For stabilization, the Osmo 360 features HorizonSteady, keeping footage level regardless of rotation, and RockSteady 3.0, DJI’s signature electronic image stabilization.
Photographers can shoot up to 30.72MP 4:3 single-lens images or 120MP 2:1 panoramic photos using both lenses. The unit houses a 2-inch display (314×556 resolution), 128GB internal storage (105GB usable), and supports microSD cards up to 1TB.
Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, gesture and voice control, and multiple smart accessories. The Standard Combo retails at €480/£410, while the Adventure Combo—which adds an Invisible Selfie Stick, two Extreme Battery Plus units, and a battery case—sells for €630/£540.
DJI’s Osmo 360 sets a new benchmark for action and 360° content creation, offering elite specs without the need for bulky rigs or compromise.
