How to login to 192.168.101.1?

Follow these steps below to login to the 192.168.101.1 router admin panel:

1. Open a web browser on your PC or the device that is connected to the router.
2. In the address bar type; http://192.168.101.1/ or 192.168.101.1 and hit the Enter key.
   
3. You will be taken to the router login page where you will be asked to enter the login username and password to continue. You can find the default username and password on a label printed at the back/side of the router. Or, check the default router username and passwords.
4. Enter the default username & password and click on Log In.
5. Given that the username and password are correct, you will be logged into the router admin interface. All the settings of the router and wireless network are accessible from here.

Note: Before you can go ahead and access the admin interface through 192.168.101.1, you need to make sure that the default gateway address for your router is 192.168.101.1. By default, all the routers come with Wi-Fi SSID and Password preset, however, if you wish to change both of these settings then you can do so through the router admin interface, and here is how you can do so:

Change Wireless Network SSID

1. First of all log into the router admin interface using the aforementioned method.
2. Once you are logged in, you will be on the Home page. From here, go to the Wireless section.
3. Look for Wi-Fi Network SSID/Name in the wireless section.
4. Enter the new Wi-Fi Network SSID in the given field.
5. Click on Apply to save changes.
6. The changes will be saved and the SSID of the Wi-Fi network would be changed. You can then connect to the Wi-Fi network with the new SSID.

Change Wireless Network Password

1. The first thing that you have to do is log in to the router admin interface. The method is mentioned above.
2. Once logged in, head over to the Wireless Section.
3. Select encryption protocol as WPA/WPA2.
4. In the Wi-Fi Network Password/Passphrase field, enter the new password for your Wi-Fi network.
5. Click on Apply to save changes.
6. The changes will be saved and the password of the Wi-Fi network would be changed. You can then re-connect to the Wi-Fi network using the new password.
