Beijing, China – September 22, 2025 — vivo has officially announced that its upcoming vivo X300 series, set for release on October 13 in China, will be fully compatible with the Zeiss 2.35x telephoto teleconverter kit. This accessory was first introduced with the vivo X200 Ultra and is designed to significantly boost mobile zoom performance.
The teleconverter kit will be offered in two finishes — silver for the standard X300 and black for the X300 Pro — giving each device a distinctive look. According to vivo, the kit won’t just extend optical zoom; it will also enhance portrait and snapshot modes, providing users with professional-grade versatility straight from their smartphones.
Both models will debut with a triple rear camera setup. The vanilla X300 is expected to carry a 200MP main sensor, while the X300 Pro will step up with a 200MP APO periscope telephoto unit optimized for long-range clarity. Combined with the Zeiss teleconverter, these configurations aim to position the series among the most advanced smartphone cameras on the market.
Under the hood, the series will be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 SoC, ensuring high performance for imaging, gaming, and AI-driven tasks. While the October launch will be China-first, vivo has confirmed that the X300 and X300 Pro will see a global rollout later this year.
With the addition of Zeiss hardware support, vivo is doubling down on its strategy to blur the line between smartphone photography and professional optics.
