The device has now been certified by NBTC in Thailand, adding to a long list of regulatory approvals that includes TDRA (UAE), SIRIM (Malaysia), IMDA (Singapore), TKDN (Indonesia), and TUV (Germany). These certifications confirm Vivo’s intentions for a broad international rollout.
The Vivo V60, bearing model number V2511, is rumored to debut in India on either August 12 or August 19, aligning with Vivo’s teaser campaign that began earlier this week. Industry insiders suggest it could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, which launched in China earlier this year.
Confirmed specs from Vivo include a massive 6,500mAh battery, a visually stunning quad-curved OLED display, and color variants named Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Gray. These hues suggest a premium design approach for the mid-range device.
A Geekbench listing previously confirmed that the Vivo V60 will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM. It will ship with Android 15, layered with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 15, offering users the latest software experience out of the box.
Moreover, TUV certification has verified the presence of 90W fast wired charging, placing the Vivo V60 among the fastest-charging smartphones in its segment.
