Umma University Nursing Fee Structure

Here is the Umma University Nursing Fee Structure for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program for the academic year starting September 2024:

Program Duration:

• 4 years / 12 trimesters.

Minimum Admission Requirements:

• KCSE mean grade of C+ and above, with:
  • C+ in English or Kiswahili,
  • C+ in Mathematics or Physics,
  • C+ in Biology,
  • C+ in Chemistry or equivalent qualifications.

Fee Structure:

Year 1 Total Fees Payable:

• 1st Trimester: Ksh 102,200
• 2nd Trimester: Ksh 86,000
• 3rd Trimester: Ksh 86,000

Year 2 Total Fees Payable:

• 4th Trimester: Ksh 90,000
• 5th Trimester: Ksh 86,000
• 6th Trimester: Ksh 86,000

Year 3 Total Fees Payable:

• 7th Trimester: Ksh 90,000
• 8th Trimester: Ksh 86,000
• 9th Trimester: Ksh 86,000

Year 4 Total Fees Payable:

• 10th Trimester: Ksh 90,000
• 11th Trimester: Ksh 86,000
• 12th Trimester: Ksh 92,000

Additional Fees:

• Project Fee: Ksh 10,000 (payable in the second year).
• Hostel Fee: Ksh 9,000 per trimester.
• Indexing Fee: Ksh 9,800 (paid once to the Nursing Council).

Total Cost:

• The total cost for the entire 4-year nursing degree is Ksh 1,066,200.
