Following yesterday’s leak of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 renders, the Galaxy Z Flip7 has now surfaced in similar CAD-based renders. While minor design details might change in the final product, these images provide a solid preview of Samsung’s upcoming flagship flip-style foldable.
Refined Design and Dimensions
The Galaxy Z Flip7 is expected to measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm when unfolded and 9.1 mm thick with the camera bumps. This makes it slightly taller and noticeably wider than its predecessor while maintaining the same thickness.
Larger Displays, Improved Camera System
Samsung has reportedly increased screen sizes, with the main display measuring 6.8 inches and the cover display expanding to 3.6 inches. The Flip7 will continue to feature a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 12 MP ultrawide lens. While the megapixel count remains unchanged from the Flip6, Samsung may introduce upgraded sensors for better image quality.
Powerful Hardware and Storage Options
The Flip7 might be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 SoC, provided yields improve. Otherwise, it will adopt the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, though it’s uncertain whether it will utilize the seven-core variant. The device is expected to come with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
Pricing and Crease Improvement
Samsung is likely to maintain the same pricing as the Flip6, offering no price hike but also no significant reduction despite years of anticipation for more affordable foldables. On the bright side, the crease on the inner display is expected to be less visible, marking a welcome improvement over previous generations.
With these enhancements, the Galaxy Z Flip7 aims to refine the foldable experience while keeping its familiar form factor. More details should emerge as the launch date approaches.
