This news contradicts earlier speculation that the Pro model might jump to 45W charging, aligning it with faster-charging Android rivals. Instead, if the leak proves accurate, Samsung will keep the same charging hardware for another generation.
Both devices are expected to feature modest battery capacities. Reports indicate that the Galaxy S26 Pro could house a 4,300 mAh battery, while the S26 Edge may carry a 4,200 mAh unit. Despite their efficiency gains from newer chipsets, the unchanged charging speed means users may not see major improvements in recharge times compared to the Galaxy S25 lineup.
