Realme is set to make a splash at MWC Barcelona 2025, where it will officially introduce the Realme 14 Pro series to global markets. However, the company is also teasing an Ultra flagship phone, which could be unveiled at the event. While Realme hasn’t explicitly confirmed if the device will bear the “Ultra” branding, the company has officially revealed some key camera details that suggest a breakthrough in smartphone photography.
1″ Sony Sensor and 10x Optical Zoom
Realme has confirmed that this Ultra phone will come equipped with a 1-inch Sony sensor, a feature typically reserved for premium flagship devices. A larger sensor allows for better light intake, enhanced dynamic range, and improved low-light performance, potentially making it one of the most capable smartphone cameras on the market.
Additionally, Realme revealed that the phone will include a periscope-style telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. This is a major step forward, as most smartphones rely on digital zoom beyond 3x–5x magnification, leading to a loss in image quality. With true 10x optical zoom, users can expect exceptional long-range photography with minimal distortion.
Realme Shares Camera Samples
Alongside the official camera details, Realme has shared sample images showcasing the phone’s photographic capabilities. These images provide a glimpse into the level of detail, sharpness, and zoom performance that users can expect from the upcoming device.
