Mr. Kennedy E. Butiko has been appointed to the Postal Corporation Board of Kenya by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information Communication & the Digital Economy (MOIC&DE), as announced in Kenya Gazette Notice No. 6293 on May 18, 2023. His term commenced on May 29, 2023, and will last for a period of three years.
A seasoned Economist, Banker, and Financial Consultant, Mr. Butiko brings over 20 years of extensive experience to his role. His career includes notable positions with prominent financial institutions such as Bank of Africa, Ghana, and Credit Agricole Indosuez Bank of Nairobi. Currently, he serves as the lead technical consultant in the development of the Bottom-up Economics Model for Vihiga County, contributing his expertise to regional economic development.
Mr. Butiko is a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Business Studies from Kenyatta University. His diverse background and professional achievements underscore his significant role in advancing financial and economic strategies in Kenya.
