Motorola’s next-generation foldable flagship, the Razr 60 Ultra, has appeared on China’s TENAA certification site, revealing a significant battery upgrade and impressive memory configurations—all packed into the same slim frame as its predecessor.
Performance Powerhouse
The Razr 60 Ultra is powered by a 4.32 GHz CPU, confirming the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful mobile processor.
The device will offer four RAM variants:
- 8 GB
- 12 GB
- 16 GB
- A whopping 18 GB
In terms of internal storage, options include:
- 256 GB
- 512 GB
- 1 TB
- And an astonishing 2 TB, which is unprecedented in the foldable phone category.
While these variants are confirmed for the Chinese market, global availability may vary.
Bigger Battery, Same Body
The most impressive upgrade is the battery. The Razr 60 Ultra has a minimum capacity of 4,275 mAh, translating to a typical capacity of about 4,500 mAh. This is a 12.5% increase over the Razr 50 Ultra, all without making the device bulkier.
- Dimensions: 171.5 x 74 x 7.3 mm (unfolded)
- Weight: 199 g
Motorola managed to boost battery life while retaining the sleek form factor, a notable feat in foldable phone engineering.
Display and Camera Upgrades
The foldable OLED screen will measure 6.96 inches, while the outer cover display retains the 4-inch OLED size from the previous generation.
Camera specs also get a boost:
- Two 50 MP cover cameras
- One 50 MP under-display sensor inside
This marks a noticeable improvement in imaging performance compared to the Razr 50 Ultra.
What’s Next?
With TENAA certification now in place, an official launch is likely imminent. The Razr 60 Ultra promises flagship performance, longer battery life, and massive storage options, placing it firmly in the race for the top foldable of 2025.
Whether global users will get access to the top-tier specs—especially the 2 TB storage and 18 GB RAM—remains to be seen.
Stay tuned for official announcements from Motorola in the coming weeks.
