A politician from Kenya is named Joseph Oyugi Magwanga. He was chosen to represent the Kasipul Kabondo Constituency in the Kenyan National Assembly following the 2007 legislative election. He is a member of the NASA Movement. Constituents consider him to be among the best-performing members of parliament.
In 2017, he unsuccessfully sought the Homa Bay county governor’s position from Awiti Cyprian.
While traveling to his hometown of Wasweta in January 2010, he got into a car accident at Chepsir, which is close to Kericho. In the mishap, his spouse Judith Atieno perished.
