Huawei has announced that Meng Wanzhou Huawei will serve as the company’s Rotating Chairman from October 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026. During this tenure, she will oversee key responsibilities tied to strategic financial and operational initiatives.
A Proven Huawei Veteran
Meng Wanzhou has been with Huawei since 1993, starting as Director of International Accounting, later becoming CFO of Huawei Hong Kong, and President of the Accounting Department. Over the years, she has strengthened Huawei’s globally unified financial systems and IT platforms. Her efforts included implementing the Integrated Financial Services (IFS) to optimize global management, contributing significantly to Huawei’s growth trajectory.
From 2007 to 2014, Meng spearheaded projects encompassing internal financial reporting, alignment of financial statements with actuals, treasury operations, and tax management. Her leadership solidified Huawei’s finance sector as a world-class, digitally intelligent organization.
Strategic Role as Rotating Chairman
