Huawei has launched the Huawei Watch Fit 5 and Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro globally, expanding availability of its latest wearable devices beyond the Chinese market.
The company also introduced the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition in the United Kingdom alongside a luxury version of the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design series.
The Huawei Watch and latest Huawei Watch 4 series are HarmonyOS-based (formerly Android Wear and LiteOS-based) smartwatches developed by Huawei. The Huawei Watch is the first smartwatch produced by Huawei. It was announced at the 2015 Mobile World Congress and released at IFA Berlin on September 2. The Huawei Watch 3 was introduced in June 2021 after the United States Department of Commerce added Huawei to its Entity List in May 2019.
Watch Fit 5 Series Goes International
Huawei confirmed that the Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro will become available internationally through the Huawei Store starting May 7.
The standard Watch Fit 5 is priced at £159.99 in the UK, while the Watch Fit 5 Pro will retail for £249.99.
As part of the launch promotion running through June 21, buyers will receive a £30 discount coupon, an additional strap and a Huawei Scale 3 smart scale.
Huawei Adds Subscription Incentives
The company is also bundling access to the Watch Fit 5 Multipass programme, which includes trial subscriptions to fitness and navigation services.
According to Huawei, supported services include Huawei Health+, Komoot and Urunn. Customers will also receive discounts on selected Huawei audio products.
The move reflects growing competition in the wearable market, where brands increasingly combine hardware sales with digital fitness ecosystems.

The device carries a significantly higher retail price of £3,499.
Huawei Expands Wearable Portfolio
The international launch of the Watch Fit 5 series comes as Huawei continues expanding its wearable business despite broader challenges in the global smartphone market.
Smartwatches and fitness trackers remain a growing segment for consumer electronics companies as demand increases for health tracking and connected fitness devices.
Outlook for Huawei Wearables
Huawei is expected to continue broadening its smartwatch ecosystem through hardware launches and subscription-based digital services.
Analysts say the company’s strategy increasingly focuses on building long-term wearable and fitness platforms alongside traditional consumer electronics products.
