Requirements for Qualification
To qualify for the facility after opting into the service, business owners must have been actively using their M-PESA Business Till for over six months.
How to Activate Fuliza ya Biashara
There are two ways to activate Fuliza Biashara: Via the Fuliza ya Biashara USSD code and the Mpesa App.
Via USSD Code
- Dial *234# from the nominated number.
- Select M-PESA Business Till
- Next, enter HO/Store Number
- Select Business loans and,
- Then, select Fuliza ya Biashara.
- Select Join Now
- Accept Terms & Conditions
- Next, enter the Operator ID and PIN, and lastly, select the accept menu option.
- Your overdraft limit will then be shown.
- Select Transact to use the assigned limit.
Via Mpesa App
- Download and install the Mpesa Business App from the Google Play Store.
- Open the app and select the “Transact” menu option.
- Next, select “Fuliza ya Biashara” and accept the terms and conditions.
- Your Fuliza limit will then be displayed shortly
- Follow the system prompts to complete your transaction
