Branson Farm Tractors: Compact Machines from Korea

Branson farm tractors were well-known compact machines manufactured by Kukje Machinery Company of South Korea. Originally established in 1968, Kukje was a major supplier for global brands like Yanmar and John Deere. The Branson name appeared in the early 2000s as Kukje’s export brand, mainly for North American and international markets.

What Made Branson Tractors Stand Out?

  • Built by Kukje, with proven reliability
  • Compact size, suited for both urban and rural use
  • High-value pricing, often less expensive than U.S. or European counterparts
  • Smooth transmission options, both manual and hydrostatic
  • Easy-to-maintain diesel engines, often sourced from Kukje or Cummins

End of the Branson Brand

By 2023, the Branson name was phased out as Kukje became fully integrated under the TYM Tractors banner. While the branding is gone, most Branson models continue production today under TYM’s catalog with similar specs and design.

Final Thoughts

Branson farm tractors offered a dependable, cost-effective solution for small- to mid-size tractor needs over two decades. Though the brand is no longer active, the legacy continues through parts support and ongoing production under TYM. For many rural users, a Branson tractor remains a trusted partner in daily agricultural and property management tasks.
