Ensure that you are registered for mobile banking or internet banking with your bank. Follow the steps below for various banks:

  • Dial *247#
  • Choose “Send Money”
  • Choose “Airtel Money”
  • Enter Airtel Number
  • Enter Amount
  • Select the Equity Account
  • Enter the mobile Banking PIN to complete the transaction

Equity Bank App

  • Go to your Equity Bank App
  • Select “Send Money”
  • Select “Send to Airtel Money Account”
  • Enter Mobile Number
  • Enter Amount
  • Enter your mobile banking PIN
  • Enter generated OTP to complete the transaction

2. Family Bank

  • Dial *325#
  • Choose “Pesapap Login”
  • Enter Pesapap PIN
  • Enter “More”
  • Select “Airtel Money”
  • Choose own number or other number
  • Enter Source Account (choose from your Family Bank Account or wallet)
  • Enter Amount
  • Confirm PIN to complete the transaction

Family Bank App

  • Go to your Family Bank App
  • Select “Mobile Money”
  • Enter Mobile Number
  • Choose “Airtel Money”
  • Choose either own phone or other phone
  • Enter Phone Number
  • Enter Amount
  • Enter PIN to complete the transaction

3. NCBA Bank

  • Dial *488#
  • Enter your mobile Banking PIN
  • Choose “Mobile Money”
  • Select Account to be debited
  • Choose “Airtel Money”
  • Choose the number to receive cash (own or other)
  • Enter amount
  • Enter your mobile Banking PIN

NCBA Now APP

  • Go to your NCBA Bank App
  • Select “Send to Mobile Money”
  • Choose “Airtel Money”
  • Enter Mobile Number
  • Enter Amount
  • Enter Description
  • Select payment source (account to be debited)
  • Submit
  • Enter generated OTP
  • Confirm to complete the transaction

4. I&M Bank

USSD *458#

  • Dial *458#
  • Log in to I&M Mobile via I&M App
  • Go to “Mobile Money”
  • Select ‘Airtel Money’
  • Enter the recipient’s mobile number
  • Enter payment description and amount to send
  • Select Account from which the amount will be debited
  • Enter your OTP and Pay to complete the transaction

  • Go to your I&M Bank App
  • Select “Send to Mobile”
  • Choose “Airtel”
  • Enter Mobile Number
  • Enter Amount
  • Submit
  • Confirm details and click “Proceed”
  • Enter PIN to complete the transaction

  • Dial *522#
  • Choose “Send Money”
  • Choose “Send to Airtel”
  • Select KCB Account to be debited
  • Select Own or Other Number
  • Enter Mobile Number
  • Enter Amount
  • Enter your mobile Banking PIN to complete the transaction

  • Go to your KCB Bank App
  • Select “Send to Mobile”
  • Choose “Airtel”
  • Choose either self or other
  • Enter Number and Amount
  • Submit

  • Enter M-PIN

  • Select BOA Account to be debited

  • Select “One-time Mobile Money payment”
  • Select “Airtel Money” as service name
  • Select Mobile Number
  • Enter Nickname
  • Enter Beneficiary Nickname
  • Select account to transfer from
  • Enter Amount
  • Confirm transaction
  • Enter PIN and submit to complete the transaction

  • Enter PIN
  • Choose “Mpesa/Airtel Money”
  • Select “Airtel Money”
  • Select wallet to transfer funds to (own number or other number)
  • Input number and amount
  • Select account to transfer from
  • Confirm to complete the transaction

  • Select “Mobile Money”

  • Go to “Payments”
  • Select “Mobile Money”
  • Select account to transfer from
  • Input recipient mobile number
  • Input amount and description
  • Submit and enter PIN to complete the transaction

  • Enter PIN
  • Select “Transfer Money”
  • Select “Payment”
  • Select “Airtel Money”
  • Input number and amount
  • Select EcoBank account number to be debited
  • Submit to complete the transaction

  • Log on to the App
  • Select “Transfer”
  • Select “Mobile Money”
  • Select phone number or select ‘+’ to enter phone number
  • Select account
  • Enter Amount
  • Select Mobile Network Operator
  • Add a note or hashtag (Purpose of transfer)
  • Proceed to enter your PIN or Touch/Face ID to authorize the transaction

11. DIB

  • Dial *278# on your phone
  • Enter your DIB Mobile Banking PIN
  • Choose “Send to Mobile”
  • Choose “Send Money to Airtel Money”
  • Choose to my phone/other phone
  • Enter phone number
  • Enter amount to transfer

  • Select account to debit
