    • Character Verification: Obtain certificates of good conduct for all directors and the company secretary.
  2. Application Submission
    • Fill out the prescribed SACCO licence application form provided by UMRA.
    • Attach all required documents mentioned above to the completed application form.
    • Pay a non-refundable application fee of UGshs 50,000 to UMRA.
  3. Submission and Processing
    • Submit the duly filled application form along with the pay slip to the Finance Officer in charge of SACCO Registration at UMRA.
    • Ensure all required information and documentation are accurately provided to avoid delays in processing.
  4. Review and Approval
    • UMRA will review the application within a maximum period of 21 days from the date of submission, provided all requirements are met.
    • Upon successful review and approval, UMRA will issue a SACCO licence certificate.
  5. Licence Renewal
