Easily Add Venmo to Wallet: Debit Card or Apple Cash

Apple Cash

To add cash to your Apple Wallet without a debit card, you can use a supported prepaid card instead. Here’s how:

  1. Check Compatibility:
    • Before adding a prepaid card, ensure it’s compatible with Apple Wallet by contacting the card issuer.
  2. Open the Wallet App:
    • Find and open the Wallet app on your iPhone or iPad.
  3. Add the Prepaid Card to Wallet:
    • Tap the “+” button in the top-right corner.
    • Select “Debit or Credit Card.”
    • Tap “Continue.”
    • Choose “Enter Card Details Manually.”
    • Enter the details from your prepaid card.
    • Tap “Next” and then “Agree.”
If you receive an error indicating that the card isn’t supported, double-check the information. If it’s correct but still not working, the card may not be compatible.
  4. Set Up Apple Cash:
    • Tap on the “Apple Cash” card in your Wallet.
    • If you haven’t set up Apple Cash yet, accept the terms and choose your default payment method.
  5. Tap the Three Dots (•••):
    • This icon is in the top-right corner of the Apple Cash card.
  6. Tap “Add Money”:
    • Find this option below the Apple Cash header.
  7. Enter an Amount:
    • Choose an amount from $10 up to $10,000 to add to your Apple Cash balance.
  8. Tap “Add”:
    • Confirm by tapping “Add.” The selected amount will be taken from your prepaid card and added to Apple Cash.

You can now use Apple Cash for transactions wherever Apple Pay is accepted.
