Mace Consult has appointed former ISG chief executive Zoe Price as its new managing director for Europe, marking a major leadership shift within the fast-growing programme delivery consultancy. Price steps into the role with more than two decades of industry experience at leading UK construction firms, bringing a reputation for operational expertise and a strong track record in delivering complex, large-scale projects.
Her appointment comes less than a year after ISG entered administration, a period during which Price played a central leadership role. Before ISG, she held senior positions at Willmott Dixon and Morgan Sindall, deepening her expertise in large-programme oversight and strategic delivery. Mace Consult described her as a leader capable of bringing clarity, discipline, and forward-looking vision to its expanding European operations.
Mace Consult, which focuses exclusively on programme delivery for major public and private projects, employs around 3,000 people in Europe and more than 5,200 globally. The consultancy reported $904 million in revenue for 2024. Its ambitions were further sharpened in July when Goldman Sachs acquired a controlling stake, creating an independent business with a stated objective of becoming the world’s leading programme management consultant.
Recent contracts reveal the consultancy’s increasing European footprint. In September, the company—working alongside AtkinsRéalis—secured a five-year engineering and project management framework with Ireland’s grid operator, EirGrid. Mace Consult is also a key delivery partner on Europe’s largest urban regeneration scheme, the Ellinikon project in Athens, through a joint venture with US-based Jacobs.
Chief executive Davendra Dabasia said Price’s leadership will support the firm’s evolving strategy. He praised her operational depth and delivery experience, saying she will help drive strong outcomes for clients across multiple sectors and service lines within the European hub. Dabasia described her hiring as an early but significant milestone in the consultancy’s journey toward global expansion.
Price expressed enthusiasm about the role, noting that Mace Consult’s recent double-digit growth shows strong momentum. She said she looks forward to working with the company’s European teams to strengthen its regional presence and deliver major programmes that offer long-term benefits to communities.
The firm continues to position itself as a key partner for transformative infrastructure projects. It was recently selected as programme delivery partner for Anglian Water’s £11 billion capital investment initiative and for the UK’s New Hospital Programme. Its growing list of leadership appointments, including recent additions at Arcadis such as Rachael Saville, shows how consultancies are reinforcing their management teams to compete in a dynamic European infrastructure market.
Mace Consult’s latest hires and project wins reflect an expanding strategy aimed at shaping major regeneration and infrastructure programmes across Europe and beyond.
