The Volkswagen ID.3 Pro, produced from March 2023 to June 2024, served as a key model in VW’s electric lineup. The ID.3 Pro supported 11 kW AC charging (full in 6h15m) and 124 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10–80% top-up in 31 minutes. Its Plug & Charge support via ISO 15118-2 offered added convenience for CCS stations.
Built on the MEB EV platform, the ID.3 Pro included a heat pump as an option, 385 liters of cargo space, and seating for five with three Isofix mounts. Despite a modest 2/5 long-distance rating, its urban efficiency—up to 520 km in mild-weather city driving—remained a strong suit.
It sold for around €39,995 in Germany, €39,990 in the Netherlands, and £44,990 in the UK before discontinuation. With strong safety ratings and eco-friendly performance, the Volkswagen ID.3 Pro bridged the gap between affordability and electric innovation in the compact segment.
