He attended Mount St Mary’s School and later earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi, where he also initiated a computer programming club.
He briefly tried to start a soy milk business in India before moving to the United States, where he earned a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
