The Uganda Senior Command and Staff College (USCSC) is the premier higher military education institution of the UPDF. It provides advanced training for senior officers of the army, air force, and special forces, as well as officers from other African countries.
The college develops officers into strategic thinkers, operational planners, and defense leaders, equipping them with military, academic, and leadership skills for national, regional, and international missions.
Location
USCSC is located at Kimaka, a suburb of Jinja city, about 82 km (51 mi) east of Kampala.

History
- 2003 – College founded by the UPDF as part of its professionalization drive.

- 2018 – College awarded its first Master of Arts in Defence and Security Studies, marking its transition into a higher academic and strategic studies institution.
- 2020s – Continued training Ugandan and regional officers, becoming a hub for East African defence cooperation.
