Qualcomm has officially unveiled the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 (SM6435-AA), the latest addition to its midrange chipset lineup. The new SoC brings substantial improvements in CPU, GPU, connectivity, and camera performance compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3.
Built on Samsung’s advanced 4nm process, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 delivers a 36% improvement in CPU performance and a 59% increase in GPU power. These boosts make it ideal for gaming, multitasking, and high-refresh-rate mobile experiences.
CPU and GPU Performance
The Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 features an octa-core Kryo CPU with four performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency cores running at 1.8GHz. This balanced configuration offers powerful performance without compromising battery efficiency.

Graphics are handled by the Adreno GPU, which supports HDR gaming, Vulkan 1.1, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0 FP. Qualcomm has also integrated Snapdragon Elite Gaming features like Variable Rate Shading (VRS) and Game Quick Touch, providing smoother visuals and faster touch response.
Display and Connectivity
The chip supports Full HD+ displays at 144Hz, ensuring ultra-smooth visuals for gaming and high-performance mobile use. Connectivity sees a major upgrade with the Qualcomm 5G Modem-RF System, supporting both mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G, Dynamic Spectrum Sharing, and 5G PowerSave 2.0 for better efficiency.
It also includes Wi-Fi 6E via Qualcomm’s FastConnect Mobile Connectivity System, Bluetooth 5.4, and LE Audio with dual antennas for stable connections.

Camera and Imaging
Imaging is powered by the Qualcomm Spectra ISP, which supports:
- Dual 12-bit ISPs
- Up to 200MP camera sensors
- 2K HDR video capture at 30fps
- Slow-motion recording at 720p/240fps
- Multi-Frame Noise Reduction (MFNR) for cleaner, sharper photos
This makes the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 one of the most capable midrange chipsets for mobile photography and videography.
Audio, Power, and Memory
The chipset features Snapdragon Sound and Qualcomm Aqstic audio technology for immersive, high-fidelity playback. On the memory side, it supports up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM (3200MHz) and UFS 3.1 storage, providing flagship-grade speed and efficiency.
Power management is handled by Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+, offering faster and safer charging across devices.
Security and Additional Features
Security is reinforced with Qualcomm’s Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), wireless edge services, and a Type-1 Hypervisor for isolated system security. Navigation accuracy also gets a boost through triple-frequency GNSS (L1/L5/L2) with urban pedestrian precision.
A Strong Step Forward for Midrange Smartphones
The Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 represents Qualcomm’s push to bring premium features to the mid-tier smartphone market — combining high refresh rates, faster connectivity, better photography, and power efficiency in a single platform.
With its combination of 4nm efficiency, 144Hz display support, 200MP camera capability, and Snapdragon Elite Gaming enhancements, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 is poised to redefine performance standards for 2026’s midrange smartphones.
