The Renault Zoe ZE50 R110, available from November 2019 to May 2024, served as Renault’s most popular electric compact hatchback. Powered by a 52.0 kWh usable battery, the Zoe offers a real-world range of 315 km, striking a strong balance between efficiency and affordability for city and suburban drivers.
It supports 22 kW AC charging, enabling full top-ups in just 3 hours, and 46 kW DC fast charging that brings the battery from 10–80% in 56 minutes. Although limited in power compared to larger EVs, the Zoe R110 provides 80 kW (109 PS) and 225 Nm of torque, suitable for everyday use with a 0–100 km/h time of 11.4 seconds and a top speed of 135 km/h.
While it lacks features like bidirectional charging or V2G, the Zoe’s lightweight build, compact footprint, and standard heat pump made it a practical EV for short- to mid-range commutes. Safety scores were moderate, and its Euro NCAP rating reflects this.
