Its operations focus on marketing petroleum products, bulk supply to commercial consumers, and providing convenience services through its retail network.
Stabex also supplies energy solutions to industries, corporations, institutions, and communities. It is ISO certified under ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety), and ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management).

In 2020, Stabex launched its Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) brand in Kenya and Uganda, targeting an untapped market where LPG usage was below 20%. In October 2024, the company partnered with Airtel Mobile Commerce Uganda (AMCUL) to enable cashless fuel payments and promote digital financial inclusion via Airtel Money at all Stabex fuel stations in Uganda.
From aviation fueling at JKIA to LPG distribution and digital payment innovations, the owners of Stabex International continue to expand the company’s reach and influence in the East and Central African energy sector.
