NHIF Penalties For Late Payments in Kenya. Pay for your NHIF penalties using the following steps:
- Go to M-PESA Menu, click on Lipa Na Mpesa then PayBill.
- Enter 222222 as the PayBill Number.
- For the account number, enter the prefix NHIFP followed by a hyphen (-) then followed by your Your ID Number without spaces. e.g. NHIFP-IDNumber
- Enter KES 50 for every month defaulted e.g. if you have defaulted for 4 months enter KES 200 as the amount.
- Enter your Safaricom PIN Number.
- You will receive a message from MPESA confirming that you have successfully paid the penalty. The M-PESA message you will receive is proof of payment.
