MediaTek has officially unveiled its newest flagship mobile processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. Positioned as the successor to the Dimensity 9400, this next-generation chipset is built to power premium smartphones with advanced AI, gaming, and energy efficiency features.
The Dimensity 9500 introduces cutting-edge CPU and GPU cores, an upgraded NPU for generative AI, support for 200MP cameras, and improved 5G and Wi-Fi performance. With these advancements, MediaTek aims to directly challenge Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the flagship market.
CPU and Performance Upgrades
The Dimensity 9500 adopts an “All Big Core” octa-core design:
