Kisii School is a prestigious public national boys’ secondary school located in Kisii County, Kenya. Founded in 1934, the school traces its roots back to the establishment of Government African School (GAS) following the Phelps-Stokes Commission Report of 1925. The local native council of South Kavirondo raised the initial funds for the school, which began by offering artisan courses at the Primary School level.

Kisii School was upgraded to national status in 2012, cementing its place among Kenya’s elite secondary schools. It now accommodates over 1,500 students across seven streams, offering a variety of academic and co-curricular activities.
