Kenyatta University invites applications from qualified candidates for various programs offered in Full-Time, Part-Time (Evening & Weekend), and Digital School of Virtual Learning (DSVOL) modes of study. Kenyatta University January 2025 Intake. These programs are available at the following campuses: Main, City, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kitui, Kericho, and Embu.

Minimum Entry Requirements

1. Certificate Programmes
   • Minimum Mean Grade: C- (Minus) at KCSE or its equivalent.
2. Diploma Programmes
   • Minimum Mean Grade: C (Plain) at KCSE or its equivalent.
3. Bachelor’s Degree Programmes
   • Minimum Mean Grade: C+ (Plus) at KCSE or its equivalent.
4. Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
   • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least:
     • Second Class Honors (Upper Division) or equivalent from Kenyatta University or any recognized institution, OR
     • Second Class (Lower Division) or equivalent with at least two years of relevant work experience.
5. Master’s Programmes
   • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least:
     • Second Class Honors (Upper Division) or equivalent from Kenyatta University or any recognized institution, OR
     • Second Class (Lower Division) or equivalent with at least two years of relevant work experience.
6. Doctor of Philosophy Programmes
   • Master’s degree in the relevant area of study from Kenyatta University or any recognized institution.

Mode of Application

Online Application Guidelines

1. Access the online application portal at: Kenyatta University Online Application.
2. Requirements:
   • Proof of payment (MPESA reference number or Bank deposit slip).
   • Academic Transcripts and Certificates.
   • Passport photo.
   • Identification documents (National ID or Passport).

Offline Application

1. Obtain application forms from:
   • Admissions Block, Office No. 12 at Kenyatta University.
   • Regional Centers in Nairobi, Embu, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kericho, Kisumu, and Garissa.
   • Downloadable forms available on the Kenyatta University website.
2. Attach the following:
   • Copies of relevant professional and academic certificates and transcripts.
   • Two (2) 1×1 passport-size photos.
   • Original application fee receipt.

Important Notes

1. Applicants with Grade C (Plain) at KCSE must have a Diploma.
2. Applicants with Grade C- (Minus) must have a Certificate and a Diploma.
3. Ensure all applications are submitted before the deadline.
